Following the cancellation of the WingFest London, we embarked on our WingTour of Brighton with the first stop being the BrewDog bar in Brighton.
When BrewDog first opened their bar in Brighton I used to frequent it just for the wings, the huge array of beers was secondary to the awesome buffalo wings, so I was thrilled to head back for the first time in 6-months – this was actually the first bar I had visited post-COVID lockdown.

Buffalo Wings
We ordered a large portion of Buffalo Wings to share, with extra Blue Cheese dip as you can never have enough dip. The wings were fresh, hot and crispy with a semi-spicy buffalo glaze. Honey was drizzled atop and garnished with spring onion greens.

Each wing was evenly coated in a crispy light buttermilk batter, the wing meat was juicy and the Blue Cheese Dip was excellent and not overpowering. My only criticism of these wings were the addition of a honey drizzle as it made the Buffalo glaze overly sweet.
Buffalo Cauliflower
I know this is a wing review however for our plant-based-diet followers we also ordered a portion of Buffalo Cauliflower (and because it’s genuinely delicious). The cauliflower coating was crispy with the same delicious Buffalo glaze and the cauliflower “meat” was tender and well cooked without being mushy.

The rating
3.5/5 Clucks. BrewDog have consistently provided excellent Buffalo wings however the recent addition of honey made the wings overly sweet.
