Weight-loss after 6.5-weeks: 25kg (55lb)
It’s December 23rd, Christmas is just two days away and today is the day I break my Keto diet. I have had a wonderful six-and-a-half weeks of ultra-low carbohydrates and lost 25kg (5kg more than my target).
I am looking forward to enjoying my Christmas dinner with deliciously crispy roast potatoes and enjoying hot chocolates, and Christmas candy – all the things I have had to restrict from my diet.
Latest Keto Dinners
I discovered a delicious Bavette steak which is very cheap and very tasty. I used celeriac to create a hassle back potato style accompaniment and served this all with a broccoli gratin, it was incredible and just 10g net carbs.
My local supermarket had a special shipment of Gold Shell Mussels and my favorite seafood of all time is Mussels. I decided to keep it classic with a traditional Moules marinière, served with a delicious dry Martini.
I’ll be restarting my Keto journey on Monday 4th January 2021 so until then, wishing you all a very Happy Holidays and a great New Year – it may look a little different than we’re used to but we will be with our loved ones (virtually) and if we carry on sticking to the rules, we can get back to the things we love sooner.
