My foodie journey started off at a very young age and I was surrounded and immersed in creative and artistic foods with my mum being a Cordon Vert accredited chef. She ran her small business from home, cooking from a domestic kitchen often creating hundreds of dishes for sale via telephone ordering and markets.
I helped my mum with packaging, labeling and eventually marketing her business online. I went with her to exhibitions, trade shows, farmers markets, food fares and evening delivery rounds. Her business kept the roof over our heads and taught me the basics of everything in business that I know, and over the years I gained a real appreciation for home cooked vegetarian food.
Fast-forward some twenty years and here I sit. I am no longer a vegetarian and enjoy a mixed omnivorous diet, but still hold a high appreciation for the vegetarian and vegan movement and the part it plays in a balanced diet.
My mum started and continues to inspire my love and appreciation of good quality food and drink and I hope to share that passion with readers of Feeding Adam! ❤️
